Alicia recently joined Sanar Institute as a Development and Communications Specialist. She brings several years of experience in nonprofit and public service, having recently worked at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the state’s largest food bank. Before that role she worked in the public library field, with a specific focus on supporting vulnerable populations and Latinx community members. She is passionate about accessibility, food insecurity, uplifting underrepresented groups, and communication strategies. She’s excited to spread the word about this important work and create inclusive communications on behalf of Sanar!
