Frank Blaney

Mr. Frank Blaney serves as Sanar Institutes Thrive Initiative Program Supervisor. Sanar’s Thrive Program Wellness Trainings deliver trauma-conscious, clinically informed and personalized Wellness Trainings to diverse organizations according to their specific needs. Mr. Blaney’s executive level management experience and passion for supporting the healing of traumatized individuals and communities are leveraged along with the deep skills of the Thrive Initiative Team to generate lasting positive impact.

Mr. Blaney has trained professionals and community leaders in conflict resolution, peacebuilding, leadership development and healing modalities across the globe. For nearly two decades he has worked in the Non-Profit and Government sector serving in diverse BIPOC communities in the U.S. and internationally in Africa, Europe and South America. His career has primarily focused on advocating for the prevention and healing of Gender-Based Violence, Community Violence Restorative Practices and Conflict Transformation. His work is enriched by his skill base in training others in somatic healing modalities such as Qigong, Tai Chi, Marital Arts and Mindfulness Meditation.

Mr. Blaney holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Intercultural Studies and a Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding. He is a certified Violence Prevention Specialist and certified in Kingian Non-Violence. He also is a certified Qigong and Tai Chi Instructor, Martial Arts Instructor, has a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Jujitsu and has deeply trained for 30 years intensively in various martial arts and healing traditional healing modalities (Ayurveda, TCM, Herbology, etc.).
