Mohna Chandra is a Summer Wellness Fellow at Sanar. I’m a Public Health major with a minor in Psychology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.

I’ve always been passionate about community service and working with underserved communities. Through my experiences in public health education, research, and volunteer work, I’ve seen how important it is for people to have access to supportive resources, especially when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. I’m excited to be part of the Sanar team and learn more about community outreach, advocacy, and trauma-informed care while supporting survivors and their families.

After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and pursue a career in psychiatry while continuing to stay involved in community-based and nonprofit work. Outside of school and work, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family.
