Tania Aquino Ortega is a bilingual Governor’s Hispanic Fellow currently interning at the Sanar
Wellness Institute. She earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Passaic
County Community College.. This fall, Tania will continue her academic journey at Rutgers
University–Newark, where she will major in Marketing and minor in Social Justice. As she will
also be participating in Rutgers’ Honors Living-Learning Community (HLLC).

At the Sanar Wellness Institute, Tania supports the organization’s daily operations by managing
communications, coordinating team calendars, and supporting office operations through
inventory reviews and order management. Assists with marketing and outreach efforts by
assisting with social media engagement initiatives and contributing to organization’s quarterly
community outreach activities. In addition, she provides financial and documentation support by
organizing receipts, assisting with expense tracking, and creating documentation packets for
reporting and recordkeeping purposes.

She is passionate about inclusivity, community empowerment, and mental health advocacy.
Tania is dedicated to supporting individuals and fostering meaningful connections through
service and outreach.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time
with her family, and expressing her creativity through painting, drawing, and makeup artistry.
